Instructor: Georg Mayer, Nokia
Georg Mayer joined Nokia in November 2001.Before that he worked for seven years within Siemens Private and Mobile Telecommunication Networks divisions on ISDN,SIP and IMS related protocol standardisation.
Since 2000 he has been attending the 3GPP IMS CT1 standardisation group,in which SIP and other IETF-based protocols are adopted for the usage within the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS).Since 2003 he has also been responsible for SIP and IMS interoperability testing with other vendors. He is currently working as a Senior Specialist at Nokia Helsinki and is co-author of the book
"The IMS. IP Multimedia Concepts and Services in the Mobile Domain".
