Alberto Montilla Bravo is Technical Marketing Engineer - Voice at Linksys, A Division of Cisco Systems Inc. He is responsible for pre-sales and technical marketing activities related to VoIP and IP Telephony solutions from Linksys in EMEA, this includes technical engagements for Service Providers as well as contributing to Service Providers definition of service offering using Linksys solutions. Prior to joining Cisco Systems in 2005, he had been working as a Senior Systems Engineer in the All-IP UMTS architecture group for Motorola Inc. where he held several positions in the 3G R&D Centre in Madrid, including participation in the Third Generation Partnership Group (3GPP) from 2000, with more than 30 contributions in the IP convergence area. Prior to Motorola he worked at Nokia Networks and Telcel Bellsouth in different engineering positions. He holds an Electronics Communications Engineering degree from the Venezuela Armed Forces University, a Master of Engineering degree in Telecommunication Systems and Services from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a Researcher Certification in Networking Engineering from the University Carlos III of Madrid.

Ari Takanen

Ari Takanen, founder and CTO of Codenomicon has since 1998 been researching information security issues in security-critical environments. His work at Codenomicon and at the OUSPG (University of Oulu) aims to ensure that new technologies are accepted by the general public by providing means of measuring and ensuring quality in networked software. Ari Takanen is one of the people behind the PROTOS research that studied information security and reliability errors in e.g. WAP, SNMP, LDAP and SIP implementations. His company, Codenomicon Ltd. provides automated tools with a systematic approach to test a multitude of interfaces on mission critical software.

Guy Redmill is EMEA market development manager at Brooktrout Technology. In this role, his primary responsibilities include developing Brooktrout’s enterprise voice and carrier enhanced service businesses in the EMEA marketplace. This involves working on and ensuring that the company’s strategic objectives are met, devising tactical programmes, and building strong partner relationships within the EMEA region.Previously, he was Senior Market Development manager for the VoIP and SS7 market segments where he managed strategic direction and business investments for Brooktrout. Prior his current role with the Forum, Jay was the founding CEO of Pingtel Corp., the first commercial company to adopt SIP as the foundation for its products. The company today is a leading provider of open source SIP solutions for enterprises. In his CEO role at Pingtel, Jay helped the company achieve a position of industry prominence by introducing xpressa, the first, SIP-compliant, Java-extensible SIP business phone. This phone was, and remains the industry-standard by which all SIP phones are judged
for SIP compliance and functionality. Following the successful introduction of xpressa, he led Pingtel to develop SIPxchange, the industry's first all-SIP enterprise IP PBX and voicemail solution. Prior to founding Pingtel, Jay was an executive in several networking technology companies, as well as an industry analyst with Forrester Research. Early in his career, Jay was a C/Unix programmer.
